When I talk to supporters who are considering a gift to The Together Plan in their Wills, they often tell me that doing so would give them a chance to make a statement about who they are. Their family history and individual identity is, in part, defined by the work of The Together Plan. For me, that level of selflessness marks out people who leave a gift as very special indeed.
– Debra Brunner, CEO
With a gift to The Together Plan in your Will, you have the power to enable generational change for entire communities, providing empowerment, human connection and life changing support.
We respect that the decision to leave a gift in your Will is special and deeply personal. The Together Plan is making a considerable, positive impact in Belarus through building trust, mutual respect and solid understanding with Jewish communities in need. It is precisely this grounded connection to what we do and those who support us that can help you consider this decision in your own time while focusing on meeting your unique wishes. We are with you every step of the way.
Our growing number of Legacy supporters are helping us to build a better world now and for the future:
- Ensuring that stories and memories from those who have endured the horrors of World War II and burden under communist rule are not lost – read more about our Heritage Trail project.
- Delivering pioneering Holocaust education programmes directly into schools – read more about our Making History Together project.
- Providing vital humanitarian aid to communities seeking solidarity and support – read more about our Aid Together project.
- Developing leading youth activities; breathing life into our next generation while sharing skills and friendship – read more about our Youth for Youth project.
The Together Plan is proud of its many achievements and fast-growing influence. Even through these recent and difficult months, our valued supporters and volunteers have enabled us to reach deeper into disenfranchised communities, undertake new projects across the entire region and raise global ambition higher than we had ever dreamed. None of this would be possible without the spirit of real togetherness and our Gift in Wills programme extends this value in a way that can make long-lasting change.

A solicitor’s expertise will give you the peace of mind of knowing that your wishes will be respected, are legally correct, and that your estate will go to the people and causes you hold dear.
Of course. Even 1% of your estate, after family and friends are provided for, would significantly help fund our ground-breaking work.
Whatever the size of the gift, large or modest, together they can make a huge difference!
There are three main types of gift. Some supporters may prefer to leave a residuary gift, or percentage of their estate. This type of gift gives people the reassurance of knowing their gift will be protected against inflation. You could also choose to leave a pecuniary gift, which is a fixed sum of money, or a specific gift of individual possessions. A solicitor can guide you through these options.
An Executor is the person you choose to make sure your wishes, as laid out in your Will, are adhered to. This can be a family member, friend or trusted professional.
We recommend you talk to your solicitor before adding a codicil.
If you do, it’s a good idea to keep it in a safe place with your existing Will.
