A cookie is a small data file that a website stores in a user’s web browser. It allows websites to retain information about a user in order to provide that user with appropriate content. Cookies may last until the browser window is closed, or for a specified period of time.
Unfortunately, we are currently unable to set cookies on an “opt in” basis. However, it is usually possible to monitor, remove and/or block cookies, if desired, using your web browser. Doing so is the user’s responsibility. For convenience, instructions for the most common browsers are listed below:
- When submitting comments, to save users having to fill in their details before each comment by saving these details locally;
- When logging in to the site as an editor or admin.
