In Belarus this year, more people were able to light Chanukah candles in their own homes. Thanks to donations that we send on our humanitarian aid lorries, more people have been able to light their Chanukiot than ever before. Judaica is not available to buy in Belarus, which is why we value all donations that we receive, so that we can distribute them among communities and help people to understand and learn the rituals around these symbolic items. The Together Plan team in Minsk organised a Chanukah party for the survivors of the Minsk Ghetto and their families. The event was attended by the British Ambassador, Jacqueline Perkins, and the Austrian Ambassador, Aloisia Wörgetter.
